Social Media Internship serves as an on-the-job learning opportunity in digital communications. The position is intended to provide an individual with a chance to learn social media skills along with getting to know the ins and outs of working in a faced-paced start-up environment. The individual in this position will learn the tools and best practices necessary to assist in producing engaging content, managing influencer and media outreach, monitoring social media conversations and generating reports that reflect online sentiment and buzz about GlobeIn.

Qualifications:

  • Required Qualifications

    • Good understanding of social media marketing best practices

    • Understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest

    • Interest in marketing to women

    • Creative and flexible with a positive attitude

    • Interest and passion for social entrepreneurship

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail

  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Completion of or current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate program in communications, business, international relations or a related field

    • Advanced research skills and fast learner

    • Visual Design Skills

    • Basic Photography and Video Editing - a plus!

Compensation: gas stipend available, free snacks, coffee, teas during the work week.
